  30. the reason why the codes were removed from the bbs was something to do
  31. with export restrictions. i heard they will be back soon or may not be
  32. in the time being if you want the latest flash you would call usr tech
  33. department [8005507800] and ask for it. then they will upload it to you
  34. if the modem is on another line or hang up and call you immediatly or
  35. they can mail a disk. or you can get it from your local bbs as you said
  36. i havent seen any action in people hacking usrsdl's to do bad things
  37. so your probably safe to get it from the local bbs. one word of caution..
  38. if the sdl.exe program (the one thats on disk after the zip or self
  39. extracting zip is extracted should be somewhere between 300-370kbytes.
  40. if the flash you download is like realy huge, like 500+ k dont run it.
  41. sometimes people get imodem, rackmount code mixed up with desktop code
  42. and a rackmount sdl can actually screw a v.everything modem and in that
  43. case it would hafto be sent back to the factory to be replaced.
